KOSMOS LLC will take part in the Round table of the Interfax press center dedicated to the development of the waste management industry
On May 27-28, the IX Nevsky International Environmental Congress was held in the Tavrichesky Palace, where it was stated that the transition to a closed – loop economy is a priority task in Russia. Within the framework of SPIEF'21, a lot of attention was also paid to the issues of waste management and recycling.
ITMO Highpark JSC, the St. Petersburg Foundation for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses and the international consortium "St. Petersburg Cluster of Clean Technologies for the Urban Environment" signed an agreement on the pilot installation of vertical smart urban farms on the basis of ITMO Highpark within the framework of SPIEF'21. The project will be based on the principles of industrial symbiosis with the subsequent processing of organic waste.
How to process polymer and composite products? What technologies already exist and what does St. Petersburg's science and industry offer in this area?
These issues will be discussed at a round table in Interfax.
On Thursday, June 10, 2021, at 14:00, the Interfax press center in St. Petersburg will hold an online round table dedicated to the development of the waste management industry following the results of the IX Nevsky International Environmental Congress and the XXIV St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF'21), as well as on the eve of a meeting in the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation on the organization of the closed life cycle of polymer and composite products.
