Barcamp "National technological revolution 20.35"

From November 8 to 10, 2021, at the Boiling point – St. Petersburg, the National technological revolution 20.35 Barcamp is being held for the sixth time — an annual educational business conference in the field of technology and innovation, organized by the participants themselves, where trends for the whole next year are set.

Forum of the Future: "Northern Dimension 2021"

Northern Dimension (ND) is a joint policy of four equal partners: the European Union, the Russian Federation, Norway and Iceland. DeCarbonization_Tech program for technology companies from Russia engaged in decarbonization

On November 1, 2021, LLC "SAMI" - a member of the international consortium "St. Petersburg Cluster of Clean Technologies for the Urban Environment" (SAMI website), the Japanese Association ROTOBO together with the Russian-Japanese association INNOVATIONS BRIDGE launches the DeCarbonization_Tech program for technology companies from Russia engaged in decarbonization.

Applications are accepted on the accelerator's website until November 22, 2021.

The goal of the program is to find innovative solutions in the field of decarbonization and carbon footprint reduction for further integration into the production processes of large Japanese companies.

According to its results, selected GreenTech projects will be able to pilot their solutions at the production facilities of large Japanese companies. Startups will receive training and mentoring with Japanese experts, as well as take part in pitch sessions with Japanese investors. Some of the solutions are integrated into the production processes of Japanese corporations.

When selecting for the accelerator, the focus will be on projects from the following areas: production, transportation and utilization of hydrogen and ammonia; use of renewable energy sources; digital technologies for measuring, controlling and visualizing CO2 emissions; decarbonization of supply chains and logistics processes; technologies related to emissions trading (monitoring, certification, e-commerce technologies); capture, storage and processing of greenhouse gases (including CO2); closed-cycle economics (recycling, waste disposal, etc.); mobility, unmanned vehicles; technologies aimed at energy conservation, including digital.

At the first stage of selection for the acceleration program, startups are waiting for applications in the format of video pitches in English.

At the second stage, selected startups listen to training lectures, undergo mentoring, and participate in an online event with Japanese investors. Some of the solutions are integrated into the production processes of Japanese corporations.

XIX All-Russian Forum "Strategic Planning in the regions and cities of Russia: the reality of 2020 and the agenda of the Decade" was held

On October 25-26, 2021, XIX All-Russian Forum "Strategic Planning in the regions and Cities of Russia: the Reality of 2020 and the Agenda of the Decade" was held in St. Petersburg, in full-time format.

The program of the face-to-face stage included more than 30 events dedicated to discussing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), urban infrastructure development, post-crisis situation, effective public administration systems, social innovations and interaction with international partners.

The international consortium "St. Petersburg Cluster of Clean Technologies for the Urban Environment" co-organized the Green Day of the Forum at the sprint session "Innovative platform and tools for the transition to a cyclical economy to achieve the SDGs in the Baltic Sea region".

Representatives of international cooperation projects Cata3Pult, BBC1, Cool4City made presentations at the session.

A memorandum of understanding on participation in the activities of the platform "Cluster of Sustainable Development 2030" All-Russian Forum "Strategic Planning in the regions and Cities of Russia" was signed at the forum.

The SPb CCI will host the event "Introduction of the principles of circular economy for the complete recycling of waste generated as a result of wastewater treatment"

On October 28, 2021, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SPb CCI) will host a hybrid event - "Introduction of the principles of circular economy for the complete recycling of waste generated as a result of wastewater treatment (business models, biotechnology and exchange of experience)". Organization of a survey for residents of Russia: separate accumulation and collection of solid municipal waste on the territory of the Russian Federation

In order to develop separate accumulation and collection of waste on the territory of all subjects of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Russian Federation approved an action Plan ("roadmap") for the introduction of separate accumulation (SAW) and collection of solid municipal waste (MSW) No. 4586p-P11 dated June 1, 2020.
Currently, the authorized executive authorities of the Russian Federation are conducting a comprehensive step-by-step work on the formation of the SAW system on the territory of the subjects of the Russian Federation.

As part of this work, a survey "The attitude of residents to the separate accumulation and collection of solid municipal waste on the territory of the Russian Federation" is posted on the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. You can take the survey by following the link. The results of the survey of residents will be used in the formation of a system of separate accumulation and collection of MSW waste.
