On July 8, 2019 environmental bureau "KOSMOS" announces a competition for the selection of an independent and qualified external controller (auditor) for the Cata3Pult project of the Russia-South-Eastern Finland cross-border cooperation Program CBC 2014-2020.

Requirements for Suppliers:
- qualification for compliance with the requirements for the selection of an independent and qualified external controller (auditor) in accordance with the requirements specified in the documents of the Program of cross-border cooperation "Russia-South-Eastern Finland" CBC 2014-2020:
Documents of the CBC program Russia-South-Eastern Finland;
Documents for reporting and auditing projects that have received funding.
- work experience and relevant certificates for audit of international projects.

Three (3) annual audits should be conducted by the following dates: June 2020, June 2021 and June 2022.

A meeting on the project took place in St. Petersburg

On June 8, a meeting on the project was held in the office of the environmental bureau «KOSMOS» in St. Petersburg.
A representative of the leader-partner - Lappeenranta city Administration and the environmental bureau «KOSMOS», as well as the Chairman of the public environmental Council under the Government of St. Petersburg took part in the event.
The meeting discussed the composition of the expert Council on the project from the Russian side.

By results of the carried-out assessment the winner is recognized individual entrepreneur Smetanina O. V.

Employees of the environmental bureau "KOSMOS" took part in the international forum «World Circular Economy Forum 2019», which took place on 03-05.06.2019 in Helsinki, Finland.

The WCEF2019 brings together over 2,000 key circular economy thinkers and doers from around the world. This year the forum has a strong emphasis on the next era of the circular economy and scaling up the transition.

3 June 2019 in Helsinki took part in the inception workshop with the participation of an international consortium: "Saint-Petersburg cleantech cluster for urban environment», NP "City homeowners association" St. Petersburg, environmental bureau «KOSMOS», Green Net Finland, representatives of the city Administration of Lappeenranta and Metropolia University of Applied Sciences (Finland).

Main objective the inception workshop - definition of work plan for 1 year with partners to solve mathematical and management issues for project implementation «Cata3Pult».

The grant contract for project funding signed Cata3Pult

Governing body of the South-Eastern Finland-Russia Programme sefrcbc.fi signed a grant contract to finance the project #KS1670 Cata3Pult – Finnish Russian PPP catalyising new green business.

Project objective. Enhancing the capacity of SMEs in the field of clean technologies and creating new business opportunities to support environmental protection and sustainable urban development within the framework of international cluster cooperation between: Green Energy Showroom (Lappeenranta, Finland), Cleantech Cluster of Helsinki Region (Helsinki, Finland), St. Petersburg Cluster of non-formal education for sustainable development (St. Petersburg, Russia) and St. Petersburg Cluster of Clean technologies for urban environment (St. Petersburg, Russia). Total project budget: 852466,00 Euro.

The result of the Cata3Pult project will serve the implementation of the Strategy "St. Petersburg–2035" and the transition to "green", environmentally sustainable development as a national strategic priority outlined in the Strategy of environmental security of Russia until 2025.
