On September 10, they took part in the online broadcast of the conference "Transition to a closed-cycle economy: the experience of the Nordic countries". The transition to a closed-cycle economy is an important part of the "European Green Course", which should ensure the effective use of resources to curb climate change, restore biodiversity and reduce environmental pollution. This task is relevant not only for the countries of the European Union, but for other states, including Russia. The conference participants discussed the best practices of the Nordic countries and Russia for the development of a cyclical economy. The conference is organized in cooperation with the environmental Legal Center "Bellona".
The event was divided into 3 panel discussions:
- Panel discussion #1 "Rethinking consumption";
- Panel discussion #2 "Closed-cycle Bioeconomics";
- Panel discussion #3 "Handling of textile and food waste".
